I’m happy to say that I’m running ahead of schedule with the card kits.  Always a good thing!!!  I hope to get them out at the end of the week… at least that is my goal.  (You hear that Andrea?? LOL)

This past weekend I got in some scrapbook time with Michelle.  Actually I think her daughter, Emily, was the only one that scrapbooked with me.  Michelle did a lot of watching. ;)   That being said, I only scrapbooked one page, and the rest of the time I snacked.  I did a lot of snacking, as usual.  I wasn’t too happy with the layout I did, but a couple days later it is starting to grow on me.  I’ll post it tomorrow after I get it scanned.

I’m a few days into life without a debit card.  I’m not sure if I shared this already, but my debit card number was stolen.  I have no idea how, and it’s really something I’ll never know I’m sure.  Not that it really matters at this point.  Anyway, not only was the number stolen, but the thief actually made a PHYSICAL COPY of my card.  I didn’t even know that was possible, but it is, and someone had tried to use my card at a Home Depot in Arizona and then at a WalMart in Texas.  So, I’m guessing its a ring of crooks that did it.  Thankfully, the size of the attempted Home Depot transaction along with the fact that it was out of state raised a red flag with the bank and they declined the transaction, but a freeze on my account and contacted me.  Only one charge actually made it through, (WalMart), and that was reversed after I filled out some paperwork.  All around a pain in the butt, but it could have been a lot worse.  And being I did vow to use cash this year to make myself more accountable, it’s working out ok, and I’m spending an awful lot less money!!  Really… a lot.  It’s way to easy to hand over the debit card and not really think about it.  I’ve given myself an allowance every week, and once that is gone… tough luck… it is what it is.  So far, so good.

Shelby is off school this week and the boys had no school on Monday and no school again on Friday.  LOL They are pretty happy with me because they think I let them skip school on Monday.  Dylan assumed it was a school day and I didn’t do anything to set him straight.  It was nice to be on his good side for the day.  *wink*

I’m off… cards to finish and laundry to do.  If anyone comes across a laundry fairy, send her my way.  I could use a day off.
