It’s been awhile since I’ve blogged. I’d like to say I’ve been working on all sorts of stuff, but I can’t. Just everyday life, which is why I haven’t posted. I guess I just don’t have anything all that interesting to say.
Most of you know that Denny and I don’t have this big and exciting social life. We aren’t party people, and Denny doesn’t really like to go out, so even if we didn’t have three kids, I’m not sure how much more exciting our life would be.
That being said, I got an email early this week letting me know that Barenaked Ladies were going to be doing a show at the Fox on New Years Eve. I happen to be a fan club member and I loyal BNL fan since their “debut” in the 80’s. As a club member I got an invite to the ticket presale. Yippee. I called Denny and told him he was taking me, lol. So yesterday I was able to get my tickets… very good tickets at that. I’m geeked.
In other scrapping news, I’m going to start working on a project that Michelle turned me on to. Ali Edwards is doing a class at Big Picture using the 7gypsies Photo Carousel. Well the kit was 100.00!! On top of that, it didn’t include everything you needed. With the price tag so high, I told Michelle we could do it ourselves at half of the cost if I ordered everything. So, I have the stuff here, and I might just start working on it. I cleaned up my office a bit this morning, so now that I can see the counter I don’t have much excuse not to start it. Right?
