Scrapbooking.com Magazine is currently auditioning craft-savvy artists. We are working on updating the look of our website and the artwork within. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in art and craft techniques, knowledge of fine art and modern trends as well as the ability to use a variety of products and materials to produce original scrapbook layouts, cards and various handmade items. Artists are required to write accompanying verbiage (usually 500-800 words/project) as needed. All artists must be able to meet deadlines, work by assignment and have the ability to submit high-resolution jpegs of assigned art.

Benefits include supplied product for projects, artists also keep their projects and all extra materials. Artists will be showcased internationally on a monthly basis, and at times will be privy to confidential product that has not been approved for public dissemination until a certain date.

We prefer someone with the ability to pick up supplies from our Carlsbad, CA office but will consider all talented applicants. If you are interested in applying for this position, please familiarize yourself with our website (www.scrapbooking.com). Send a resume and at least two art samples that represent your artistic style and range. If we feel you would fit into our team, more instructions will be provided about how to audition. Please email resumes, pictures of art and any other relevant information to both ssmith@a-z.com and jpetersen@a-z.com. Thank you for your time, we are excited to offer this opportunity and look forward to hearing from you.
